Cool Wedding Slideshow

How many times we have come across cheesy wedding slideshow which doesn’t do justice to those beautiful photos taken?

I am the type where I keep my slideshow simple. Fade in, fade out. Done deal! The very least they do not look those cheesy 1990s fly in web animation. Heck, they do not do justice to photos that you have paid so much effort on.

Where sometimes, less is more…. I came across animoto. Yes, less is more. Less work, great visual effect slideshow.

I spent a couple of minutes going through their service. Signed up (psttt. it’s free), upload a few photos and before I know it, I have one of my portfolio done with really nice visual effect.

Check this out:

What’s the deal? You put your photos, a song, mesh it up a lil, and a brand new photo music video.

They recently launched their full length downloads. A local copy can be downloaded to the computer for our pleasure viewing. Better, we can convert it so it play back on a DVD player. Saying so, the quality is still by far nothing near DVD quality. I reckon when I watch it on TV, it wouldn’t suck though.

This is not a paid advertisement. Just wanted to share with you guys, what we all can do with the beautiful photos taken. Each full length video cost USD $3, it isn’t pricey.

KC & Althea's Wedding Day

January 22nd, 2008

The month of January was and still is a traveling month for me. I am back from Hong Kong last Friday and straight jump in for a wedding shoot over the weekend. It’s been exciting month so far.

I’ve met Kris from weddingmalaysia.com and his team over the weekend. We checked out The Wedding Hub and definately it is a place to visit for Brides & Grooms to be.

As for me, my trip to Singapore marks the first assignment out of the country, which is a stepping stone and I hope for more to come. HK was fab! 2 of my cousin gave birth to 2 wonderful kids. I was there with my granny to celebrate one of the kid’s fullmoon. She’s now, a great granny

It’s not all holiday as I was busy completing the works done, so… don’t you worry, your photos are very well taken care off :) .

KC and Althea wed on the 1st December 2007. Just last month ;) . They are young and they were simply a candid to capture on the day.

Here are some of my favorite from their wedding. Let me share it with you guys, gladly.

My trip to Hong Kong was a family affair. We’ve just celebrated my cousin’s newborn. It’s a boyyy! We had the kid’s fullmoon dinner at one of the restaurant in Tsuen Wan. Just about 2 big tables of family and close friends of my cousins. Met a lot of faces that I’ve only seen them on photos all my life.

This is the person that adds to the photos now. He hasn’t gotten his official name yet. Apparently, they have 40 days before needing to register his name.

Isn’t he cutee? :)

I’ll be visiting and spending time with my extended family here. Internet access is easy but I am not always online. Do email me if you have any queries, and I will try to reply as soon as I can.

Traveling Period

I’ve just arrived Singapore today. Beautiful weather to be walking around. Left the busy traffic of Petaling Jaya in the Aeroline to only reach Singapore just slightly shy of 2pm.

Took a cab to The Royal Peacock Hotel and check in here. Will be staying in this hotel at Chinatown for the next 3 days.

I was scouting around the wedding venue for some nice outdoor shoot tomorrow. Found some casual ones, I hope the couple will like it.

So, today is early rest. Tomorrow is a long long day! Tsk Tsk.
