    Where do I start? If I were to draw an analogy, making wedding albums are like making a 2 hours movie that would be shown at the cinema, except that the movie is starring the bride and groom, not Emma Stone with Ryan Gosling. Not 2 hours long movie, but 50 pages, each and every page has a purpose. Everything else are more or less the same, just that we do not have multimillion dollar budget in producing it… and the time, certainly not the time.

    Dress down casual for couple portraits in Kuala Lumpur

    The city is a great backdrop. It’s busy, it’s interesting, and more importantly, we can’t get the Kuala Lumpur charm anywhere else, but Kuala Lumpur.

    The best of it all, is that the city is in our backyard. It’s accessible, and it’s there waiting for us to create new memories it. Photographing in Kuala Lumpur means you get diverse settings, from the sleek modernity of KLCC to our everyday street city charm. Each spot brings a different vibe to your photos, making each shoot unique.

    Jon has explore some of the routes through his photowalks, and it’s simple to create a photography experience in the city for couple portraits. The bustling markets and vibrant street scenes add life and authenticity to your portraits. Places like Petaling Street to Merdeka square are perfect for capturing candid moments. Despite being a bustling city, KL has plenty of green spaces too. Local parks to hiking trails like the Kiara route provide a serene, natural backdrop that contrasts beautifully with urban shots.

  • Spare some photography time on a wedding day

    Planning a wedding day can be quite a feat. On a typical Asian wedding, we tend to have our ceremonies dictating how the wedding day unfolds. Do do a quick run through a typical wedding itinerary in your mind, and count how many times the bride and groom are actually together to get photographs taken. Almost none, for almost all the wedding day ceremonies out there.The bride and groom are often apart during getting ready, and the couple are surrounded by people during ceremonies. Be it an akad nikah session, a tea ceremony, a church holy matrimony or a temple ceremony, people are there to celebrate with the couple.Unless of cos if we could steal some time for the bride and groom, or even the bridal party away from the wedding day to get some photographs done. We wouldn’t have enough photographs of the bridal party, or the couple together.We always have great results when we have the luxury of time to work out something, but we are quick on our feet!

    Day 3 was massive. The events were pretty to photograph and photographed we did. The Haldi ceremonies were turmeric yellow! The Gauri Pooja was heart warming. The preparations for evening ceremonies were great. The Bharat & Jai Mala was heart thumping, but we only have pictures to show you guys.
